This dreaded disease has infected many innocent victims, like those who have received blood transfusions with infected blood or have had injections with the same needles that were used on HIV positive people. Several governmental organizations and NGOs are doing a good job in third world countries to treat patients suffering with HIV & AIDS with free medicines, counselling and hospitalization.

There is a lot of social stigma attached to this disease, it is kept under cover by many who are affected with it, and they in turn end up infecting many more, including their spouses who may be innocent victims.

HIV & AIDS has turned out to be the biggest killer of the century and every country is attempting to try and curb its spreading.
