Tribes 1 Speed

The graphics didn’t make Tribes Tribes, it was the game play. No restriction on movement made the game play so fast, it was ridiculously fun and amazing. The movement in the game to many can be viewed as a piece of artwork, depending on how creative you were and are. Take a look at some of the fastest game play for Tribes 1.

  • Tribes 1 Skills

For the continuation of one of my favorite games in the Tribes series, I bring to you a clip of one of the greatest Tribes 1 players that I have ever seen. Tribes came out many years ago, and the physics in the game was insane, complete movement and freedom. Barriers never thought possible before, like mid airing with the disc launder while hovering in the air had become a reality in this game. I bring to you a clip of some of the best kills I have ever seen.

  • Tribes 1 Synergy

My first first person shooter for the PC was Tribes 1. Tribes 1 was undoubtedly one of the best games for its genre and of its time. I recall countless hours playing this game in my computer classes ;) and at home. Team work is heavily enforced, here is one of the best examples of how synergy was key in this game.

  • Vudu

At first glance the Vudu looks very sleek, I love the black and blue color scheme on the machine. For HD content the Vudu is number one in delivering the most content. The only catch is that the Vudu is $300. Vudu has licensing to Universal, Paramount, Lionsgate, and some other producers. Also keep in mind, that you cannot stream downloaded content from one room to another, meaning you need to purchase another Vudu if you would like to watch different HD content. The Vudu machine is pretty compact, and there is no heating issues, which means if you would like to hide the Vudu in a drawer or something you can go ahead and do it. The remote that comes with the Vudu is amazing as well, the output for the Vudu is at 1080p with 24 fps. Compared to Blu-ray, Blu-ray still reigns supreme in image quality. It costs about $4-$6 for movie rentals.

    Vongo

In every household many people hold the theater room as one of the most revered areas of their houses. Many people like to deck out such rooms with screens, projectors, and surround sound. Many people have also been adding items such as Vongo to their rooms. Vongo’s service is about $10 a month, and you can stream the movies to any TV via a Windows Media Center device. The monthly service allows for unlimited downloads/streams. Vongo can offer a lot of movies because they are in contract with Startz Entertainment. When compared to other online movie distributors, Vongo had many choices that could not be found anywhere else. In order to browse Vongo’s collection you need to download Vongo client. Among movies there is limited TV shows that Vongo offers, which are also broad casted in 480p. What is even worse is that there is no HD content available.

  • IBackup For Mac

I am not the biggest fan of Macs due to their misleading commercials but my personal feelings should not influence what I write. Everything I write must be objective including this review of IBackup Online Backup for Macs. Almost everything service or program is specifically made for Windows so it is nice that developers are designing programs for Macs. Data is important for Windows and Mac users alike which is why I stress that everyone backs up their data one way or another. You can store your data on portable hard drives but those die which is why it is safest to stick with IBackup. You can trust them with your most important data because your data will remain secure and you can always rely on them.

Furthermore, all your data will be transferred in a 128 bit SSL encryption making it almost impossible for anyone to steal data while it is being transferred. All your data will not be uploaded at once because they want you to save bandwidth so they will upload it in increments. You do not even have to be at the computer to view your data because you are able to access it anywhere you have web access. IBackup supports Leopard and Tiger with a minimum of 256mb ram and a 500 MHz G3 processor or better.

  • Can’t Get an IP Address?

Do you have a computer that is constantly stuck trying to get an IP address? You may look at the task bar and see your network connection animated with a tiny yellow ball for quite some time, constantly looking for an assigned IP address. Another symptom is that you visit services.msc and you check the DHCP service where it says starting but the status remains the same. Chances are that your registry could be at fault due to some adware program or just corruption. To save hours of head aches you can try the WinSock XP Fix.

    Download it here.

  • Area-51 m15x by Alienware

When it comes to gaming laptops, all true gamers have heard of Alienware. Alienware to me, has been the top manufacturer of gaming laptops. Many people who are serious about gaming usually buy from Alienware too, be it their top of the line products, the style, or performance. The m15x supports Intel’s 2.8GHz Core 2 Extreme mobile CPU and comes with a 8800M GTX videocard. In both categories of cpu and videocard, this laptop comes with both that are veered upon as the best. A pretty cool feature that is innovative is when that you do not need the power from the 8800, you can reboot the laptop and switch to integrated graphics, this in turn saves your battery life. This laptop comes with a Blu-ray burner, and a 200GB 7,200 rpm hard drive. You can tweak the LED lights on the laptop with the control panel that Alienware provides you, overall this is one gaming laptop.

Block Ads for Any Browser You Use

You might be thinking you cannot block ads for all browsers, only individuals ones with addons. Then you might think you can do so using programs but what I have here is neither a program nor an addon. It is called Hardcore Ad-Blocker and it is one of the best ad blockers I have used. The blacklist alone has over 14,750 advertisement sites blocked so they will no longer bother you. All you must do to use it is just click the “Enable Ad-Blocker.bat” file to instal the Host file into “C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc.” To disable the Ad blocker just double click the ”Disable Ad-Blocker.bat.”

Propz go to Hardcore Ad-Blocker HOSTS file by “Sjaakie” and “Raz0r”

Enable + Disable commands by “eXPerience”
